Pat I can't do what you propose since the ie7beta3 directory is erased when I uninstall IE7 using the control panel. Anyhow even uninstalling from spuninst.exe didn't change anything.. I think I'll just use IE7 without tabs since apart from tabs everything is working. Thank you Pat,Sandy and all that tried to help.
